Early Yars and Influences
Ally was born in Dorohoi, Botosani, Romania on february 9, the eldest daughter of a dressmaker and a public guardian. She grew up listening to great artists like Michael Jackson, Jackson’s 5, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey,Tina Turner, Jessie J, Alicia keys, Beyonce and later on tried to make her own way in the “business”.
“I’ve been passionate about music since I can’t remember, even though there was no musical heritage in my family! I used to record songs from music channels with an old almost broken cassette recorder so I could listen to music anytime I wanted. My parents were not very much into this passion of mine so they never supported me!” But one thing is for sure, that didn’t stop her to fulfil her dream, so she graduated R.I.S.E in Bucharest and after that she attended “The Company of artists” private music school.
On november 17, 2015 she released her first single “LoveSick”, written by she and her keyboard player Andrei Ganea, a mixture of pop, disco-funk song produced by Metropolitan Records. The message in the song highlights our love addiction and emphasizes different contradictory moods it brings with it. The video was directed by iRonic, a young and talented director who illustrated the idea of a couple video-journal in a positive and funy way with Ally as the main character. “I’m not an actress, but everything came so natural and I enjoyed every minute of it! In the end it’s all about that!… So, don’t let anyone tell you what you can or you can’t do, just do your thing and be happy about it!”
